28 wheels for an F-20

My son has been asked to restore an F20 and he says one of the rear wheels is very badly rusted and needs to be replaced. I think he said it had round spokes. Does anybody know where to find one near central NY??

Dave, They come up from time to time on Ebay or craigslist. I have not seen any in NY. How bad is the one you have? If it can be fixed it may save you alot of $.Best to place a wanted add on YT see if anyone contacts you. oldiron29

Son has repaired a lot of rims in the past. Even he says it can't be fixed.

Here in central Iowa,the 28s seem to be much easier to come by than the 36s. Don't know why but I have been offered several pairs of 28s by a scrapper but only one pair of 36s.

most every 20 ive ever junked with short rubber on them showed signs of a picker being mounted on it at some point. shorter rubber meant slower ground speed so you wouldnt over power the tractor by tring to pick too fast. i usually see 2 sets of 28's for every set of 36's
