I'm trying to help a group of FFA students with a International Harvester tractor project. We're not sure of the tractor model. The serial number plate is there but the only numbers appear on the Model number line. Its appears to read "A 80003B005634*". We think this is the serial number but still not sure of the correct Model. Please help! Thanks! |

Thanks for all the help! With learning the location of the engine number we discovered that it has BD154 engine. That info along with matching the last four digits of the serial number makes it a 1976 Model 364, pretty sure anyway....thanks again!

It is obviously an IH tractor made in Great Britian. I would recommend a new thread with a new title so the UK folks will know you are needing some help with identification of an English or UK built tractor. There are a few that frequent this forum and can probably answer your ID question. Just my thought as most of us in the USA aren't familiar with the foreign produced IHC models, Hal.

This does not look like a valid serial number. A picture would really help.

The B414 and the B275 were made in England. The other model was made in the US for the British market. The name plate indicates that this unit was made in England. The 275 would be older and would have 8 forward gears. The 414 would have a six forward speed transmission (3 with a high an low selector).

One of the models built on this pattern was the B414 as well as the other mentioned. If the Diesel motor is 3-cylinder then it will be a Perkins. These were good tough little tractors with about 37 hp.

The skins on the B414 appear to be different than the picture shown.

This is a Bradford UK built tractor of the 1970s. Could be either a 444, 354 or a 374 is it a diesel engine or a petrol engine. MJ
