Lucas Hydraulic leak stopper

Lucas makes a hydraulic leak stopper. It should stop minor drips. But, why doesn"t it also plug the fine screens in the valves?

It is not gritty like a radiator stop leak is. The Lucas and other brands have formulas in them that causes seals, gaskets, and o-rings to swell. This is supposed to help slow down or even sometimes stop the leak.

Thanks for the answer. I"ve got some very minor leaks, so I"ll give it a try.

i have had no problems with it in my case 580b backhoe it was leaking quite a bit and i put 5 gallons of it in called them and they said don't use more than a gallon
