Topic: HELP: Farmall 460 T/A -Transmission Question?

We have split this tractor for engine O/H and replacement of the main clutch & T/A clutch. We assembled the T/A according to the service manual and question proper function. With the T/A clutch engaged, the main transmission shaft will turn only 1 direction, counter clockwise but not clockwise (as you"re sitting on the tractor). Is this correct or do I have a problem? Thanks for the help!

| It should spin one way, but not the other. That is the sprague clutch in the TA telling you that it is working.
