I have a question on using a 85W-140 geal oil in my Super c. The question is what is the GL number I should be getting.

If not plowing or disking all day would think 90W would be plenty heavy.

I run 85w140. The thicker the better I say with the old tractors, within reason.
I ran 75w90 in my A tranny and it was loud. Went up to 85w140 and that made it quiet.
