Hey Jim, got the water pump fixed so im going to put a few hours on the M today hopefully, in order to get it to the farm I have to drive the M up a hill with a rather step grade for about an 1/8th of a mile. Is this hill going to put to much load on the motor to soon? Thanks for the help. ~Anthony

Zachary is on target.
As soon as it has run well for 2 hours, it is OK to operate at 80% power at full throttle (not lugging just nice working) for 5 minutes at a time. Stretching this out to 10 minutes after 5 hours total run time with 2 minute periods of full rated power. Variability is the best practice, After 10 hours, it is what it is, change the oil and filter and run it like it was designed. None of these time ideas are concrete, and the key is just keep from beating it up at one speed until it has had a chance to find comfort in its bearings and journals. It is like getting up in the morning, stretching, getting to the bathroom to check systems a bit, then eating before getting down to the days work. Best of fortune with that fine tractor, Jim
