Yes--- With the tractor off. And with a Stout piece of wire. It will spark, no more than one second is needed.

True for Delco systems, Lucas systems polarize Bat to Field.

Prety hard to find anything to add to Bob and Jim and that good URL link buttttttttt on a 4 terminal (BAT FLD LOAD GEN/ARM) VR where the Gen/Arm is often hidden underneath and hard to get to........Jump from BAT direct down to the gennys ARM post.
