Just restotd a SC. Took it all apart but not the motor. All back togother and painted.Now cannot control the speed of the motor. Has some thing slipped out in gouvner.Alan

Did you remove the carburetor? If you did the linkage may not aligned correctly.

WHile pushing and pulling on the operator speed control lever, the carb linkage behind the carb should move completely from full idle to full throttle. Check that linkage first. Jim
