460 starter

Is the starter for a diesel 460 and an LP gas 460 the same?
I can't make heads or tails out of the desciption in the caseIH website

diesel's use a heavier starter.

The 460 LP gas and the 460 diesel use the same starter.

There are two starters listed but 1108657 replaces 10108642. The starter that was used on a particular tractor depended upon when the tractor was built, not on which engine it had.

Any good auto electric shop in your area should be able to rebuild the one you have.
