draw bar material

I sure wouldnt worry about strength of the steel. I bought a length of original size flatbar and had shop do the bending for each end like originals. Sold all my originals and now have the replacements on all 6 tractors and i will never wear them out with anything i pull with them. The A,B and BN all take the same one.

It's got lead in it. All those old machines had lead in the steel that made them durable, and even tough they rusted, they'd break loose. Today's stuff just snaps.

dont have info on it but i believe it would be qt1 steel and not mild steel. with mild steel the drawbar hole would get enlongated in no time.thats one way to tell how much work the tractor did, just look at the drawbar. but thats my idea.
