Will this rim come off without removing hub?

Just wondered if anyone knew before I tried it lol..is there any way to get the front rim of my Farmall M off without pulling the hub off? Front wheels are the last thing to paint and I am installing new tires. Bearings feel perfect in the front wheels so I wasn't going to pull the front hub apart if I didn't have to, and I just wondered if you could work the rim and clamps around the hub or not. Thanks.

Yes, the rim will come off. It was designed to do so, in order to be able to change tire spacing. You have to hold your mouth just right, and it might take you a few tries. They will come off though.

Yes. To minimize cursing the thing, jack up the other tire and place a 4x4 under it. That helps with wiggling the affected rim around the hub.

Well I went out there, drove one side up onto a 2x4 allowing the other side to spin, blew the 3 bolts off with the impact and went to remove it. No matter what I couldn't get it to come off. I came back here to curse at you guys who told me it would, then I realized the mud slingers deal that was bolted on between the wheels wasn't allowing enough wiggle room, so I broke those bolts free to remove it and they came right off! Thanks guys!

How are you going to paint the cast wheel if you don't remove it? Take it off duct tape the hub opening, sandblast it, prime and paint it right.and paint it right.
Blast prime and paint the rim while that tire is off. You will love the finished job!
Do the other one at the same time. Jack and crib the pedestal.
