Just thought I would pass on my new addition to my collection. Also added an F series tool board with tooling. Tractor is a 1919 year and is loose and has been a belt tractor from what we can tell, Enjoy

In the early 1940s, a neighbor still used a Titan 10-20 in the fall for disking corn stalks. He thought the angle lugs helped to chop the stalks. Don't know if that was true. As a kid, I used to lean over the rail fence to watch and listen. He offered me a ride once, and I can still remember all the wonderful levers and rods reciprocating, jiggling and clicking right there in front of the driver. A gearhead's dream! No doubt most of the readers here know that the Titan had both pistons moving on the same throw, so there was even firing, unlike the John Deere opposed-throw design, BUT the heavy weights moving together made the whole tractor rock backwards and forwards when it was sitting still!! Incredibly archaic piece of machinery when you consider that cars of this era already fully-enclosed engine parts, internal lubrication (a few even with full-pressure lubrication, I believe), disk clutches, radiators, enclosed drives to the rear wheels, and so on. But what a delight to watch all this machinery out in the open!

Just curious if you don"t mind my asking what you paid for this machine? Reason for asking is my father in law has one that his Grand Father bought new. It is running and has always been shedded. We are thinking of selling and have had several marginal offers but have turned them all down because we believe a piece of history like this is worth more than what has been offered.
