i would like to know why a IH "M" wide front will not fit a 300 model it is a schwards wide front |

| | Even if you could "make" it fit,you are better off to try and sell/trade that one for the correct one. There are WAY enough of the correct ones out there.Instead of having to go and "hack" one together to get it to work. |

| DeltaRed is correct, the frame is 2 inches narrower on an H. the bolster bolt pattern for the steering arm does not match, and the brace under the oil pan attaches farther back. Welding cutting drilling, and fabricating are needed. (or the attachment setup for an H from the manufacturer) Jim |

| An M is wider than a 300.the mounting holes do not line up.You can probably drill new holes and then install it.Grab a tape measure and find out!Steve |
