lo boy sickle mower

i would like to have a sickle mower for a cub lo boy, i know there is a model 105 but they are hard to find and cost to much. is there a small mower that could be hooked behind the cub possible bolted to the braw bar? thx pheel

In a word-NO. All you need to find a a Cub L-22 side mounted mower.A #105 is much more compilcated to mount and make sure you have all mounting parts for,for one thing.Only drawback to the L-22 is that it uses a pitman,so will only work in a limited range,while the #105 will cut at "most any angle.

is a L-22 different from a regular 22 which i was told could not be used because it would drag the ground

The Cub-22 and L-22 are considerably different from each other. They don't mix between the 2 tractor models.
