I have a 400 that is set up for pulling but still has the hyd. pump on it. I want to take it off. I have looked at the part numbers for dist. drive for 400 and super M and the part number for mag drive and they are different numbers. I keep seeing these for sell on ebay and they say that they fit dist. and mag for M-450. Will they work or does it have to be for the 264ci dist. type?

Part you want is found on part of the 1950 M tractors and on up through to 450 tractors without a engine hydraulic pump. Most all have a number on them. You want the one for a M or SM non diesel with a number that ends in R1.

Eddie, looked at E.B. and item # 150939997077 has the housing # 354951R1 visible in the picture. That fits you.
Also saw one listed for H to 350 saying pullers needed it to replace a engine pump. Can see the housing # on it 6237D. That will only bolt to H up to part of 1950 models. Realy its a early housing before a oil seal was added to the shaft.
Housing # 354941R1 would fit in place of a pump on a 300 ETC..
Beware of E.B. listings of carburetors, distributors, ignition drives and other fit alls. Ask questions before purchase.
