560 serial number

I have a 560 serial number 50682s-y-c c. So am I correct that this is a 1958 model? If it is the rear end hasn't been upgraded because there are no other marks on the tag. Would it be common to have one that did not receive updates?

its a 62 model. late enough to have all the rearend updates from the factory.

the C C stamping means it has the heavy tillage gear set in it

No yours is a lot newer then a 58 as I H always starts with 501 and yours is a five digit so i am guessen it is in the mid 60's as 63 was the last year for the 60 sires . I had a 58 450 and also a 58 460 and the s/N on it was 571 in other words it was the 70th 460 built.

Even if it was a 1958 and never had the upgrade I doubt it makes difference now. After over a half century of use it certainly doesn't appear to be an issue.
