Did Carter Gruenewald ever offer orig SS muffler?

In December 2011 they thought they'd be out Spring 2012, when I called them spring of 2012 they thought they'd be available in July and I put my name on a call list, but haven't heard.

In the meanwhile, been awhile since I posted a Farmall picture, so I'll attach a couple.

Haven't heard anything yet. It would sure be a shame if these turn out to be "vaporware" like so many other things.

Related story, two weeks ago I was at an auction that had a non-running I4. It had an ORIGINAL, CORRECT Farmall H muffler on it, complete with the stamped IH logo on it. Considering it was a muffler, it was MINT.

Tractor also had about $400 in weights on it. Two sets of fronts, two sets of rears.

$1050 for a non-runner. Probably half of it was for the weights and muffler.

Beautiful H! Ken's passion for the lettered series is unequalled. He has been at it more than 20 years but I know he gets frustrated sometimes getting some parts manufactured to the original IH specs. in a timely manner.

You prompted a call...they hope to hear about a shipment in three to four weeks - they are on a ship somewhere.

I am lucky to still have the original muffler on my 1945 H and it also has the IH part number on it. MJ
