I have a 450 farmall and adjusted the TA according to the manual. Now it sticks in gear when theres pressure on the tractor. I have to put it in low to shift. Why is this? Is it in the adjustment?

When you do what the others say, the TA clutch begins to release and fully releases slightly after the main clutch releases--that's the way it should work. You can see when the TA clutch releases by removing the small plate on top of the TA housing.

The short linkage that goes back from the clutch to the TA needs to be shortened slightly.

When you push the clutch, that short link puts the TA in low automatically so you can shift.

My 450 did the same thing. I adjusted the long rod going back to the clutch pedal one turn at a time until it worked properly. It has been fine since.

Be careful with that. Adjusting the long rod adjusts your clutch pedal free travel. If you take too much of that out you'll burn up your throwout bearing.

IIRC you start by adjusting clutch pedal free travel to spec, then adjust the short rod so the TA clutch releases when you press the clutch pedal down fully.

There's a video on youtube that shows adjusting a mechanical TA, BTW.

+1. If pressure lets off when you tug back on TA, its out of adjustment. The book gets you close, but all the linkage wear makes tweaking nesecary. My 504 diesel takes differnt adjustments each time I do it. And I start feom the manual.
