What is the correct model number or name of the loader that International Harvester manufactured for a 1956 International 300 Utility Tractor? Where can I get a new or rectro-fit bucket that will fit?

The basic pipe frame on the U34 is very similar to the IH-Wagner 120 loader on my 240U (mfg. in 1958). Mine has a "dirt" bucket instead of the manure bucket shown in the picture, and it has two cylinders instead of the one vertical cylinder. According to what I found, Wagner sold out in '55, but I'm wondering if IH may have bought them, or maybe another company that still partnered with IH to build them. Before '55, from what Info I can find, they built a lot of loaders for Ford tractors.

Thanks for all of the great responses. I will keep looking, but it doesn't appear that it will be easy to find. To Big Fred: Your bucket is too big for my needs, but sounds like Corona Boy might be able to use it. Thanks again for all your help.

That loader was probably made by Wagner... don't know if they are in business any more.

If you're in western WA, I have a wide bucket that will fit the U34 loader free for the asking. My loader frame is busted in several places and going to the scrapper when I get a round tuit, but the bucket is in decent shape. It's probably 5-6 ft wide and probably too wide to be used for anything except very light materials (like snow).

I am in western WA and am interested in loader bucket if still available. I have a 300U and a pair of 350U's. One with loader. I'm always looking for parts and pieces. Where are you located on the soggy side?

I'm just south of Buckley. That bucket ain't going anywhere. It's kind of tough to get at right now, but I've been clearing stuff out of the way lately, and came across it this fall.

IH produced the U34 power loader 1955 thru 1956

both with hydraulic bucket:

notice the auxillary pump in front of the crankshaft !!

and trip bucket

If your loader is like the one in the picture, it is a model number U-34. But like DeltaRed said, I think it would be hard to find a good original bucket. I also have one on a 300 Utility and my bucket needs replacing too. Al
