Topic: IH 424 diesel muffler

I need a muffler for a 424 diesel tractor. It is a horizontal/underslung exhaust ssytem. Everything I look up has gas engine mufflers, but not diesel. It does look like the gas muffler would work.Any ideas?

| | Hi, CIH parts lists: 3047572R92 MUFFLER & exhaust pipe. Should be same as B414D, 434, 444 under slung exhauts. JimB

| For what it's worth. I have a 464 diesel with the under side exhaust, I had a pipe made to go up the top so exhaust goes up,pipe runs just outside of sheet metal on right side, just ran straight pipe and no muffler, not much louder than without muffler,
