How do I remove a adaptor from pto shaft on my M .Trying to mount a #27 mower.Found a set screw and removed also grease fitting.Thanks Bill |

| After you have the zerk and plug out, hold a nail or similar pointed tool in one of the holes and slowly rotate it. The nail will probably catch on the pin to help find it. |

| You're talking about an over-running clutch, I assume? If so, there is typically a roll pin that goes through the cross hole on the PTO shaft that is accessed through the zerk hole. Once you have the zerk and screw on the opposite side out, rotate until the holes and the pin are lined up then drive it out. Probably full of grease so the pin can be hard to find but it's in there. |
