M&W aftermarket dipstick, Replaces the oem petcocks. I have one on a SC. I don't use it much and keep it serviced so the clear oil doesn't show up too good. If your going to use it check oil before you start it, otherwise the splash make it hard to read. Yes I shut her down before I check it.

One for sale on ebay was at $99.00 last time I looked.

Can't hardly belive it, but one of those sold on ebay on 10-4 for $360 after 45 bids. Most all list them as made by M&W but lots of them are not.

I have one just like it. Mine is stamped HEIKEN on one side, and ATLANTIC, IOWA on the other side.

at those prices, I should probably replace it with a $3
hardware store drain/petcock,
and sell it

Actually, it's kind of a pain, at least how mine is mounted.
dipstick runs into the steering shaft when removing/installing.

looks an awful lot like the dipstick on my friends John Deere M -

of course - I don't know if it's stock - could be an aftermarket part on there - I have no idea.
