And have some questions: On the M"s what year did they change to the newer style front rims (on a narrow front end)? Just like the looks of these better. Also have seen some rear rims turned inside out, why would this have been done? And can the rims just be switched (sides) to correct? Also looking for pictures of the correct placing of decals (as from the factory) Have seen a lot of variations. Thanks [Reply]   [No Email]

Either is correct, but I believe the adjustable width narrow front rim was pretty well standard after 1947. If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will correct me... [Reply]  [No Email]

The dish in dish out idea is so farmers can set the width of the rear track to what ever spacing is desired from full narrow, to extended for cultivating 40 inch rows. So, though many like them dished out, there is no right way. Guy Fey's book on the letter series is considered by many to be correct for placement of decals. BigTone 10-06-2012 16:18:18 70.192.15.200 Report to Moderator	Re: M Lesson in reply to KTNC, 10-06-2012 15:58:41   Some guys dish the wheels in so that they can fit on a trailer that had the deck between the wheel wells like a car hauler or small equipment trailer. You can switch them back no problem, takes a little muscle and a couple/few guys to get them off the axles and re mounted , just make sure the tread is facing the correct way. [Reply]  [No Email]
