OT what is it worth

I am looking for a ball park figure as to what this speader is worth? There is no rust and very little wear on this machine. There was still some paint on the apron before it was cleaned and painted. The spreader is in wisconsin. Thanks.

I have seen two like that for sale locally here in the last couple years, both were in the 1500.00 range, but I dont know if they ever got that much for them or not.

Depends on location and if you can find someone that wants a small spreader. Location if you're in an area with small or gentleman farmers or horse people that spread manure it's worth more. If you're somewhere in the great open spaces of the west a lot less. With the soft economy it is worth less than it was 5 years ago, people are spending less money on horses tractors and such for hobbies to save money to pay for nationalized health care costs that are sneaking up on us and to pay for the cell phones they're giving away now.

I"ve got one just like that.

Or, rather, it _was_ just like that, about fifty years ago. Now it"s, uhm, a different shade of red. Also better ventilated. Cost me $80 about 15 years ago.

$800 at least in so. Il. Small spreaders are highly sought after by the horse crowd...and since horses are by and large money pits to begin with, it only makes sense.....

Probably around $1500. I have one that I restored to that quality and have about $2000 in it. New tires, new sides, new floor, new paint and decals plus $500 for the spreader.

I watched one sell yesterday at the horse and antique auction in waverly Iowa. A amish guy bought it and said he had one at home like it that was horse drawn and he was going to use the front axil to convert the one he just bought. Super nice restoration job, new floor, rubber, perfect paint, way to nice to use. $2650.00.

Bob, Very nice. Always wanted one. I would give $1500 for it. I would park it in it my front yard with a for rent sign on it. Can only be used in a parade to to make a statement, "spread the wealth". The rest of the time, I would plant flowers in it. Impressed with how clean it looks. Ours never looked that good. It always had a coating on it.
