H clutch chatter help

Glazing can be the issue, but it is usual to replace the disk and PP as well as the Bearings to make it stop. Can be done through the bottom W/O split. Jim

New pressure plate ,clutch disc ,resurfaced flywheel. Thinking some adj. i dont know about maybe. Thanks

Clutch needs to be " burnished" (broken in).
Put it in high gear & hold the brakes, slowly let out on the clutch until the engine rpm drops, hold a second or two & release. Two to three times & this should take the "grabbiness" out of it.
New clutches tend to be grabby until they are broken in, or used for heavy field work.

The reality is that it will take a week or two of use for it to mellow into smooth operation. The finish on the FW and pressure plate will be non directional, and (the surface of the friction disk, rough. They don't have much cushion, and therefore are a bit sensitive. If it is a ceramic puck style clutch, that may be all you get, they are often like switches. Jim

I had the same problem a while back - the issue was the ball bearing on the clutch pilot had worn out and wasn't centering the shaft
