Thanks in advance. Can someone tell me the difference in a 444 and a 2444?

| Replaced water pump on my 444 a couple of years back. Case-IH Dealer got it for me.

| Hi, 2444 and 444 have the same BD-154 Diesel engine unless you have a rare gas version. The block is slightly different between the 2444 and 444 but the water pump should be same.
I looked up in CNH Parts:
Water Pump 424,2424,444 and 2444
3042304R91 BEARING, water pump spindle
704216R4 BODY, water pump B414D,3414,3444 and 7000 Forklift:
3042304R91 BEARING, water pump spindle
704216R4 BODY, water pump The bearing is usually the part that fails and allows coolant to leak. The bearing can be changed if you have access to a press but otherwise the casting body will break. Years ago when we had B414D,434 and 384, our local IH dealer carried re-manufactured water pumps. JimB

| 444 is a 'farm' tractor.2444 is an industrial tractor.

Thanks Delta Red. Mines an industrial. Water pump went out and havent been able to find anyone to rebuild it. Any suggestions?

| Cant you just get a new/rebuilt one NAPA,etc.;C/IH;Valubuilt,Abilene,etc?Should be the same engine.
