If it's off the serial tag, that is the normal prefix for an AMERICAN Farmall C or Super C. If the serial is <100,000 it is a C. If the serial is >100,000 it is a Super C. If a C or Super C they are common, but great tractors. In great shape with good 80 to 90% tires, they can be worth 2500. The main difference in the link is the position of the lights. It is possible but very unlikely the one you are looking at is French, otherwise it would be advertised that way. The SC has curved clutch and brake pedals, the C has straight. The SC has disk brakes meaning a cast cover, the C has band brakes with a metal cover. The serial number of the C has no more than 5 numbers, the serial of the SC has 6. There is very little space between the top of the hyd reservoir and the gas tank of the C, significant clearance between the reservoir and the gas tank on the SC, which has a taller radiator and grill, etc.   [Reply]  [No Email]
