But as I said - two times I ended with a metal encased one. No idea how they got it messed up - but all I do is give them the number - maybe just a coincidence. I would only use a BALDWIN filter as a last case/desperation/emergency fix. They use cardboard center tubes and are of low quality construction. [Reply]  [No Email]

The earlier As would use the Baldwin PT70. The Baldwin is probably as good as it gets, which is not to say other brands might not be as good, but the Baldwin is made right here in the U.S.A.
