I have a Farmall 400 with a wide front end that I purchased this past winter. The front axle is forward the tractor front by about 18 inches. The person I bought the tractor from said that it was a IH front end. I have not found any other tractor with a front end like this. |

| You have an 'old style' front from an 'M'.They can be made to ste back under the tractor by useing a "set back plate".A setback plate is simply a piece of 1/2" plate steel. One can aesily be made.Simply trace a patern off a 'factory'plate. Then grab your torch! |

| This front end is from a letter series Farmall. (H & M). The 400 wide front has the tie rods behind the tube. My Dad had the mate to your tractor with 2 point hitch but, sadly, no radio! |
