Question 1 is we have a md and it starts and runs great but has a sucking sound from exhaust like a valve? any ideas on things to try before valve job?Question 2 is in need of clutch replacement can I pull the disk and presssure plate out of bottom where belly pump is? |

| Disk and PP will come out. If it is missing on one cylinder, and white smoke is puffing in time with that miss, Your guess is probably good. If it is not missing, and you still want to check, do a compression check while switched to the gas start mode. Though the compression will likely be low, look for uniformity. 10% is max difference. | no miss has the sucking noise both on gas and diesel what could it be can hear it and I did change mufflers and still there |

| There is a three bolt flange on the top of the manifold where the exhaust pipe comes out. That gasket could be blow. If it is, make sure the surfaces are flat before putting a new gasket on. They do have a unique sound, the muffler is at one end of the manifold, and it is different than a M or H gas. Jim |
