I have an 806 dual speed PTO I am attempting to R&R the seals on the outer plate. Have gotten the outer plate about 1/2" from main unit and it hangs up. I have tried to pry it off with no luck. Can anybody offer info. to get cover plate the rest of the way off. |

| Hy-Capacity offers a 540 seal assembly that can be installed on the outside of the housing using the threads for the PTO shaft shield. See part number 830470, IPTO Seal Assembly on their web site. |

| You cannot get the outer plate off until you remove the pump, clutch pack and drum which is all done from the other side. You have to pull the whole unit off and take it apart. You can replace the 1000 rpm seal from the outside but the 540 seal is installed from inside. You need a few special tools that can be made to compress spring of clutch piston and brakes. |
