There is a Farmall 140 Lo-boy for sale on E Bay. Anyone ever seen one of these before?? I'm pretty sure it's legit, as I have purchased from this seller before. The item number is 230842159858. I suppose that someone made this up in similar fashion as the Hebard Shop Mules. Looks pretty neat to me.

I've never seen one of them first hand. This eBay listing has the only good pictures I have seen. I do know one person (in MO) that has told me he has one. I think they are a shop conversion (supported by the serial number plate). They are probably "legitimate" in that the conversion was evidently done when they were new or near new tractors. They were probably done as mowing tractors.

I have no idea how many were made, except that evidence suggests there were "several".

International owned some mower companies, they would send tractors to them to be made into mowers. My neighbor had a Fairway A mower. It had originally been a Farmall A. He was happy to find out the local mechanic knew all about how to repair it.
