(push in the foot clutch, pull the PTO control lever up, Let out the foot clutch and it spins) then the issue is certainly with the M/W clutch, or a blown differential or finals. Ol' Gimpy 08-24-2012 16:20:29 74.67.127.235 Report to Moderator	Re: Clutch, Super H in reply to Wilfam, 08-24-2012 10:42:10   A guess would be the tabs holding the adjusting nut have sheared,letting the adjustment nut back off.Usually happens when the Aetna bearing seizes from no lubrication.Wasn"t uncommon to get Farmalls in that had the M&W clutch unit welded together,or remove the units altogether if that problem occured,and the owners no longer used the M&W unit.Had a number of them lying around back then,should have held on to them!!   [Reply]  [No Email]

Fiddling with the M&W clutch makes the tractor move. That is where the problem is. For the tractor to move both the foot clutch and the M&W must be engaged. Foot off the pedal, and hand lever forward. AFAIK, you can lock up the clutches on the M&W by taking the cover off and tightening the large nut underneath. This will effectively disable the M&W clutch's ability to stop the tractor while leaving the PTO running. Pulling the lever will do nothing. I have the same clutch on my Super M, but I am still trying to figure out how it works, how it adjusts, and if it's even any good. Right now nothing happens when I pull the lever 9 times out of 10.   [Reply]  [No Email]

You might remove the gear shift lever and look down in the hole and line up the forks so that they are all in neutrel. Hope that is the problem cause its an easy fix.   [Reply]  [No Email]
