I bought a 340 utility with non working hydraulics. I have never messed with hydraulics. Looking for advice on where to start any tests or steps I should take to start me off? |

| | On the right hand side of the 'torque tube' will be a oval plate held in by 10 or so bolts remove that. That will gain access to the hydraulic filters, these can be cleaned or replaced. I have had a few tractors (of that related series) over the years with a sluggish to almost no hydraulic out put caused by lack on maintenance of the filters. Try that first, pretty cheap and easy. Also make sure the fluid is good, clean and at the right level. Andrew |
