Replace the coil, winding opening when it warms up. Blow it with a hair dryer to see if you can induce the failure.
 
I agree with Todd, if the coil is hot when it dies, put a sparkplug in a Plug Wire and crank it, if no spark it is likely the coil. cool the coil with cold water (avoid the spark end) to see if it starts back up. Fuel tank caps with a plugged up vent hole can also cause that issue. Jim
 
Check the inside of the gas tank for foreign matter. My Super C would do the same thing, trouble shot everything we could think of, always the same. Looked into the tank one day before putting fuel in it. Couldn't believe what I saw, the plastic-card board inner cap from some type of jug, it looked just like the ones inside of a 2 gallon jug of hydraulic fluid. I'd loaned the tractor to a friend before the issue started, I assume that he used an empty hydraulic jug to re-fuel it without a funnel. Picked it out with a claw, no problems since.
