| Some things to try. Modest compression loss (rings or leaky valves) can be exaggerated at low speeds where there is time for leakage to make a difference. A check of compression on the gas start cycle will check differences between cylinders (they should be within 8 to 10 % of each other) Poor injector pattern at low flow will also produce the issue. Find the missing cylinder/s by cracking loose the injector lines at the pump when running to find the ones not firing. Then swap the injectors between those and running cylinders. If the misfire follows the injector, the injector is in need of rebuild. Pumps and timing can be a factor, but the others are more likely. Jim |
