I recently purchased a 1955 farmall 300 with a loader. I love it, but I'm curious if this model can be converted to power steering? Any ideas? |

| If you buy the whole works for a factory type, Behlen torque generator, beware they are usually worn out and the flow divider valve is also worn. The seller isn't going to know that but it is a lot of work to put them on and then find out they don't work well as a whole lot of guys have found out from all the questions that have gone over this forum the last few years. I prefer the charlynn and a separate pump. That 300 has only 9 gpm pump and when you take first 3 gals for steering you don't have a lot left for a loader. |

| Power steering was an option on 300's. If you found a donor in a wrecking yard you could make a change over. I took the power steering from a 350 and put it on a 400 once. 300, 350, 400 and 450's would work. Char lynn also made a kit for Farmall's but you would need to find a used one. |
