Replaced press reg springs again. this time with OEM. With Hy-Cap springs 215# DD&TA, OEM springs 250#. Last year and half have had probs w/Hy-Cap stuff, maybe time to switch? Ag Parts LTD? Been with Hy-Capacity since BMD sold out to A&I but enough is enough! john

well i sold Hy Cap for twenty years and never had a problem . So like i said before did you check spring length ?? did you call and tell them that there was a problem?? normally i had to trim the spring to get the pressure down , so something has changed .

I have had lots of problems with high capacity products. I will not put it in any thing I own. I would take the clutch to a local clutch and joint shop and tell them what you want and what you are doing with the tractor and they will fix u right up. I work at a local dealership and ever time a customer wants to high cap product I cringe cause I know I get to do the job twice!

Tractor vet, I don't think you know What you are talking about. I don't know of a person or a dealership that has not had problems with high captivity products and I have prolly put in 70 to 80 solid state ignitions in and never have every replaced one or have had a customer or myself have problems with one. Almost every antique pulling tractor out their has electronic ignition and I have never seen or heard of one giving up. Not starting an argument but your wrong with what you are posting.

Well myself i have installed my fair share and most have taken a dump . and when they do the tractor don't go . and since i am and old fogy i like the old better. as far as knowing what i am doing yea i do with 50 years of wrenchen under my belt

Like U I was very satisfied until lately.First "hiccup" was an out of balance press plate on a TA/clutch job for a 1086 spring of 2011. Thought crank was cracked, busier than hell, rather than offer a fair warranty, new Rep tried to Jew me like a car salesman. No I didn't check spring length but checked press's like I'm sure U do and would never let a TA job go out with 215#. Last week, got reman WP with chunk of cast broke out, brake band for a 140 that was too thick, miss aligned brackets with AC kits, now this spring deal which I will tell them about. My loyalty to them is gone. john

Forgot to add, Tractor left my shop in March this yr and cust called last week and said it free wheeled going down a hill in low with a 1000 gal sprayer behind. Assured him there was a 2 yr warranty. Spose TA low side plates are smoked? I do appreciate your reply to my posts, regards, john
