Topic: Factory 560 wide front? [ value other applications]

A neighbor brought over a nice factory wide front off a 560.What will it fit besides 560 and what is a fair price.It has no welds and is complete.Thanks! |

| if it came off a 560 and you put it on a 450 or earlier tractor, you need a different horseshoe mount in the back where th epivot ball bolts in. they are different heights from a 450 to 560. i had to put spacers under the main axle casting mount to make sure they were still level |

Yes, the main part of that wide front will fit many different models, but to do it right, and with little hassle, you need the mounting parts that are specific to the model of tractor it is being installed on. |

| I paid $525.00 for and IH original 560 wide front came with rims and bad tires, only needed paint no welds, only thing I don't like about it is turning can't turn sharp like if raking hay, somebody told me to put 856 steering arms on it they are a little shorter and will make a big difference. |

| Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that will fit the following models: M (and all variations) 400, 450, 460, and 560. Might fit some other models too. Only thing is the spindles may not be the correct size for original hubs depending on the model. |
