230 Farmall Steering question

Mine is all apart having replaced the worm wheel gears which were chewed. For the life of me I can"t figure what holds the steering shaft gear in place where it enters the casting from the rear. It seems like there is some some sort of bushing there which is missing. Or is it held in place by the pressure of the largish square nutted plug that comes in from the front. I lost mine when when it flew into the woods after a wee bit of an accident. What do you call that plug anyways????

Yes that plug holds it together,
and it is called steering worm
bearing retainer and it is pt. no.
6660DA, and looks like all the letter
series use the same pt. no. so
you should be able to find one,
if not send me an e-mail, stumper

Would this be the particular critter below ??????
Sure does look familiar. Too bad my wife hit the thing with the mower deck while it was all being held up by and engine hoist. When it all finally hit the ground parts and pieces were scattered for 50 feet, half of them in the woods. I'm probably lucky that's all I lost that couldn't buy at the hardware store.
