Which manual do I buy?
"M" McCormick Low Pneumatic or High Steel Wheel Grain Drill with Plain Double Run Feed (Canadian), 1952, 140 pgs.
"M" McCormick Grain Drill with Double Run Feed and 6, 7, 8, and 10" spacing, 1957, 80 pgs.

| Some Owner's Manuals had a parts section included. That many pages difference suggests maybe the 1952 manual has it while the 1957 one doesn't. Also, the earlier one mentions high wheel, so may include some stuff specific to it that you don't need.
Your drill has the low mount grass seed attachment, which I suspect wasn't available yet in 1952. It probably isn't covered in the older manual. (I tried to find documentation on that. Don't have it.)
I expect that either manual will cover your drill. I don't think there was any operational difference on the 2 grass seeders. Instructions for the high mount seeder probably are probably adequate for the low mount. |

| Logic says the newer manual will cover an older drill.
I don't think you'd go wrong with either manual. |

Logic also says that the 140 page manual would have more than the 80 page manual. I am torn. |

| I have the 1952 version of the manual, and mine is 6" spacing. If you have 10" spacing, maybe you need the 1957 version.Best of luck! |
