Price Check: Farmall C with cultivators etc

Hi,

I am wondering what a fair price would be to buy a C tricycle farmall. It runs good, tires good, no major issues, doesnt look horrible, but not restored. It has both sets of front cultivators with 2 planters minus the hoppers, and the cultivators for the back that dig behind the back wheels and middle.

Thanks,
Lynn

Need more info......like area because that will be the biggest factor followed by condition of the rubber IMO. In my area a C with or without implements isn't worth much.....just so many of them around. But other areas the price can be much higher. Here an H with a loader and aftermarket 3 point and good rubber with chains sold for 1500 and it took the owner about 6 months to get that price. But a Ford N series that runs with fair rubber will bring 1800-3K depending on condition as long as it runs.

Lynn, then I would have no idea......west central MN here. I'd suggest that you take a look at your local ads to include CL and Ebay. Remember that asking price and selling price can be pretty far apart.

Around Houston you can't hardly give a C away if you want to sell one. Last one I sold I let go for $750, after 1 1/2 years. It was mechanically reconditioned with good rubber but poor paint.

Super C's are the ones that seem to hold their value. They typically sell for $1500-2500.

I've had a complete set of mounted planters and cultivators for sale for $500 for over a year with no takers.
