Topic: Will MW Distillate pistons work with gas head.

We have a farmall M with M&W pistons witch have a inch tall dome on them. I was wonder if anyone knew if any gas head would fit on it with out any clearance trouble or other trouble. Would accept any help.

| in the m+w catalog those pistons are listed for lp use also. they will give you 8 to 1 compression with a gasoline head. 8060 or 8574.

| | Either or will work, The only times you really run into possible clearance issues is if your using a 450 head with some radical pistons or head work.

| Are the inch tall M&W pistons I have the same thing as a firecrater pistons or are they something different.

| | They are just about the same, there was at least a handful on makers of performance upgrade pistons. The domes maybe slightly off from one to the other buy generally they are all roughly the same. Andrew
