I am at a toss up between 16.9 and 18.4. I know 16.9 (14) was original, but 18.4 is the same money and more tire. It seems pretty standard that guys went to 18.4 on their next set. Too many choices when you are restoring one! Then do you go with 45 degree bars or a more modern 23 degree tire??? Old style up front or new style. I like the look of yours with modern tires, but I have seen them with old style tires and they look pretty cool as well. In the service manual they show a WD-9 with Firestone Champion Ground Grip (turkey track) tires. It would be kind of neat to have that pattern, too. Then you would look like the book.
