Danuser 2 point blade question

Picked up this blade that set around and the joints were stiff. Have everything freed up exept maybe the tilt. I'm not sure how the lock is made and don't want to force things and mess up. Looks like the big wing nut loosens up to move the tilt. Does it just loosen, or need to come out so much? How does things lockup inside the frame? Looks like a Danuser model IB. Thanks to anyone who knows.

I had an issue a few years ago with one of their products and found they are still in business. I called them and received some very good technical help. They are located in Fulton, Missouri and their phone no. is (573) 642-2246. I would very surprised if they can't advise you in your issue, Hal.

I have the same blade i went through this past winter, Danuser is still in business and are very helpful. These are about the most ruggrd built small blade I have ever seen. Fix what it needs its a keeper

It is an IB model, they built blades for most all tractor manufactures. IB stands for International Blade but I can not remember the # but Danuser will help.

Here are the adjustment instructions from the Danuser Form No. 1402 for the model IB All Purpose Blade for the Fast Hitch International tractors:
"Any desired tilt of the blade to the right or left may be obtained by the following procedure. Loosen wing nut approx. three turns, pull the blade frame slightly rearward to disengage clutch teeth. Rotate blade frame to the desired position and tighten wing nut. Caution: Be sure clutch teeth are completely engaged before tightening wing nut."
The blade frame according to the pictures is that portion of the blade to the rear and not the fast hitch yoke which is in front. There must be some type of splined components inside the frame which must be engaged to maintain the set position. It also states to check the wing nut for tightness after the first hour following adjustment.
Hope this helps and I sent an email as well, Hal.
