660 injector pump

i cant get any fuel to come out of the injector
lines to the injectors but i can get fuel to come
out of the return line from the pump. the hand
primer dont work any more. ive aslo tried an inline
fuel pump right after the sediment bowl but that
didnt do anything either. its a roosa master pump. i
dont know if something is gummed up inside the pump
or not. the tractor has been sitting for 10+ years.
any help would be great.

Probably have stuck plungers in injector pump, especially if it has been sitting for that long. Sounds like a trip to a diesel shop for pump overhaul.

Is the hand throttle opened all the way? My 660 won't fire up or show smoke at the exhaust pipe unless the throttle lever on the column is fully open. The throttle quadrant will have cast lettering indicating "high" or "idle". Maybe not those exact words but something similar. I am not going out to look.

My 460 was setting for about 20 years and we pulled the thing around in 3rd gear trying to get 1500-1800 rpm out of it and it started pumping after a while. We had the lines off of the injecters so you could see fuel flowing. It works just fine. If that don't work off to the shop.

sounds like stuck plungers to me. I'd be inclined to drag it around with another tractor like said below, maybe you can get lucky.

why not? pull the top cover off and spray some carb cleaner in there, and let it sit . there is no plungers in this pump. delivery valve and such is just gummed up.

I thought it was kind of strange that everybody said it has to go straight to the shop...
