Gonna use 5/8 X 3" bolts through the respective hole on each side of the front of the tractor while hauling on a trailer. The hole goes through the rails and into the front bolster casting. Am I going to need to worry about the casting cracking? I would think not since it is pretty thick. |

| | That will work. That's the way I tie down my SH. I hook 2 chains on the front, ease the SH forward with the motor to put tension on. I hook 2 more chains on the back with 2 ratchet binders and snug them up. Front chains are slightly angled towards the back and back chains slightly angled towards the front. Never had it move yet. |
