Another 756 leak

Looking at the IPC, it looks like there is an o-ring and a retainer in there.
Can I change these from the outside or is it more complicated than that?
Thanks
Mark.

course, if one is leaking, the other probably will before long. after all, they are almost 50 years old.

there are 3 o rings- 2 on one side and 1 on the other. i think the 2 are on the left. the 1 on the right is the same as the bigger one on the left.

to do all 3, drain the oil, pull the pto unit out, disconnect the draft control arm, then everything at the bottom is obvious.

YEs i know that BUT he can do the left side and get by with out getting to deep into it . As i have done only the left side in a pinch when someone needed there tractor fast .

Drain the rear end , remove the three point arm and remove the two bolts and retainer and slide it apart replace the two O/rings look for a burrs and file them smooth polish with fine emery lube up and slide it back together . ONe before you start this remove the three point top link plate and look over to the right at the arm coming up from the bottom and see where it makes contact with the arm coming down from the top as the one from the top is on the back side of the one coming up from the bottom , if the one from the top slips off the one from the bottom your three point will go all the way up and not go down . This may happen when you start moving things . This little tid bit will keep you from coming back on want to know WHY MY THREE POINT WILL NOT GO DOWN.
