just got this yesterday. Had no oil pressure and would not run. after help from family it is running,but will still need some work

did you get oil pressure?
when they loose oil pressure from sitting they need to be primed again

yep, sure did get oil pressure about 20 lbs. at idle, need to figure out why it is so cold blooded. also need to find the pulley for the mower deck.

I wanted a Cub when they first came out, but Dad thought they were just a toy. At that time, they were advertised as $545 FOB Chicago. I was 10 at the time and didn't have that much money. Besides that, I don't know how I would have got to Chicago to pick one up. I suppose freight wasn't all that much back then.

I remember 1947 when they came out, I was 11, my dad wanted one to take the place of the two mules he used,we couldn't afford it either but I remember looking at it in the magazine, I have owned 3 since then.
