Super A Belt Drive

Hi Everyone. The belt drive has two places where it is sealed to keep the oil in. An O-ring seals it where the belt drive case meets the PTO case to keep the oil out of the shims, and an oil seal on the shaft. The shaft oil seal mounts in a seal retainer and rides on the spacer. The spacer goes between the outer bearing and the belt pulley. The shaft seal will keep the oil from coming out the outside of the spacer, but what will keep the oil from coming out the inside of the spacer around the shaft?
